Wheat

Wheat is a widely cultivated crop whose seed is a grain used all over the world as a staple food. Like most grasses, wheat plants have long, slender leaves and stems and small flowers that are borne in groups called spikelet. The seeds that form on this spikelet are the portion of the plant harvested for food. Wheat can be grown in a variety of climates and soil, but is best grown in temperate regions that receive between 12 and 36 inches (30 to 90 centimeters) of rainfall.

Wheat has a protein content of about 13% and is the leading source of vegetable protein in human food. It is also an important source of carbohydrates. When wheat is eaten as a whole grain, it is an excellent source of dietary fiber and nutrients. Wheat is the second-most-produced cereal grain behind maize, and the global trade of wheat is greater than all other crops combined.

In 2020, the total global production of wheat was 760 million tons.  China, India, and Russia are the three largest individual wheat producers in the world, accounting for about 41% of the world’s total wheat production. India produced 107,590,000 Tons of Wheat in 2020.

Granite

Granite is the most common intrusive rock in Earth’s continental crust, It is familiar as a mottled pink, white, gray, and black ornamental stone. It is coarse- to medium-grained. Its three main minerals are feldspar, quartz, and mica, which occur as silvery muscovite or dark biotite or both. Of these minerals, feldspar predominates, and quartz usually accounts for more than 10 percent. The alkali feldspars are often pink, resulting in the pink granite often used as a decorative stone. Granite crystallizes from silica-rich magmas that are miles deep in Earth’s crust. Many mineral deposits form near crystallizing granite bodies from the hydrothermal solutions that such bodies release. India, is one of the world’s largest producer of natural stones, has long been leading the global granite market with granite production and granite exports over the decades. With the continuous growth of global granite demand in both the residential and commercial property market, India’s leading position in the global granite market is expected to be further strengthened.
